McAdams Pledges to Protect Social Security
This Wednesday U.S. Senate Candidate Scott McAdams will sign a pledge to honor Social Security. This pledge will promise that McAdams will fight proposals that will:
1. Cut guaranteed Social Security benefits by risking senior's retirement security in private accounts
2. Weaken the system by diverting money from the Social Security Trust Fund to pay for private accounts
3. Further threaten the solvency of the Social Security Trust Fund by increasing the federal deficit
4. Increase the Social Security Retirement Age
McAdams will be joined by local seniors who support his candidacy.
